Alexandrea Winery Wine Evening at Decant Wine Bar

On March 5, wine enthusiasts gathered at Decant Wine Bar around the premium wines of Alexandrea Winery. The event was not only a tasting but also an engaging journey into a unique world of wine.

The evening was hosted by Jeff Richey, the head winemaker of Alexandrea Winery, who brings more than 30 years of international experience in the field of winemaking. He shared the story behind the creation of Alexandrea Winery, spoke about how the idea was developed, and introduced the values that guide the winery along its path.

During the evening, guests had the opportunity to taste several wines from Alexandrea Winery, including  White Cuvée, Riesling, Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Noir and Areni.

One of the most anticipated moments of the evening was the tasting of Alexandrea Pinot Noir. This is one of the first Pinot Noir wines produced in Armenia and it sparked great interest among the guests. It offered a unique opportunity to experience how this world-renowned European variety expresses itself in the Armenian soil, sun, and terroir.

Another highlight of the evening was Alexandrea Riesling. For many guests, it was a pleasant surprise to discover that this well-known German variety can also grow and express itself beautifully in Armenian vineyards.

The atmosphere of the evening was warm and lively, filled with genuine conversations, open discussions, and a memorable wine experience.

Special thanks to Decant Wine Bar for co-hosting this wonderful event, and to all the guests whose presence, curiosity, and enthusiasm made the evening truly complete.
