Alexandrea Winery Wins Gold and Silver at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2026

Alexandrea Winery is proud to share a new international achievement at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2026.

Alexandrea Pinot Noir 2024 has been awarded a Gold Medal, while Alexandrea Riesling 2024 received a Silver Medal at one of the world’s respected international wine competitions.

These awards mark an important moment for Alexandrea and reflect the winery’s continued commitment to quality, elegance, and the expression of Armenian terroir.

The Gold Medal for Alexandrea Pinot Noir 2024 is especially meaningful, as Pinot Noir is one of the most delicate and demanding grape varieties in the world. In Alexandrea’s interpretation, this refined variety takes on a distinctly Armenian character, shaped by high-altitude vineyards, volcanic soils, sun-filled days, and cool nights.

The Silver Medal for Alexandrea Riesling 2024 also holds special significance. Alexandrea is proud to be recognized as the producer of Armenia’s first Riesling, bringing this internationally celebrated variety into a new dialogue with Armenian terroir.

Together, these two wines show the diversity and potential of Alexandrea’s winemaking — from an elegant and expressive red to a fresh, precise, and aromatic white.

For Alexandrea Winery, international recognition is not the final destination. It is a confirmation of the chosen direction: to craft wines that reflect the richness of Armenian land, respect the vineyard, and present Armenian winemaking to the world with confidence and refinement.

On June 25, Alexandrea Winery had the honor of participating in the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan’s Freedom250 celebration, dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States.

As part of the event, Alexandrea Winery presented its wines and offered guests the opportunity to discover the richness of Armenian terroir through its carefully crafted collection.

The celebration brought together Armenian friends, partners, and guests to mark an important historic milestone and highlight the enduring partnership between the United States and Armenia.

For Alexandrea Winery, participation in this event was a meaningful opportunity to represent modern Armenian winemaking in an international setting. Rooted in Armenian terroir and guided by a commitment to quality, heritage, and innovation, Alexandrea continues to share the story of Armenian wine with both local and international audiences.

Presenting Alexandrea wines at the Freedom250 celebration reflected the winery’s belief that wine is more than a product. It is a cultural expression, a connection to the land, and a bridge between people, traditions, and shared experiences.

Alexandrea Winery is proud to have been part of this special occasion, sharing Armenian wine with guests at an event that celebrated history, partnership, and friendship.
