Alexandrea Winery represents a new generation of Armenian winemaking, where ancient heritage meets a modern vision
Where Passion Meets Innovation
At Alexandrea Winery, Armenian heritage meets a modern vision of winemaking. Founded in 2017 by Armenian-American entrepreneur Adam Kablanian, the winery was created with a clear purpose: to reveal the richness of Armenian terroir and present Armenian wine to the world through a contemporary lens.
Rooted in Armenia’s high-altitude vineyards, volcanic soils, and sun-filled landscapes, Alexandrea Winery crafts wines that express elegance, freshness, balance, and a strong sense of place. Every bottle reflects a philosophy where innovation, precision, and authenticity exist in harmony.
Beautifully Blending Innovation, Tradition & New Flavors
Alexandrea Winery brings together the timeless traditions of Armenian winemaking with modern techniques and a forward-thinking approach. Respect for heritage remains at the core of every decision, from vineyard management to fermentation and aging.
At the same time, the winery continuously explores new possibilities through innovation, experimentation, and refined craftsmanship. This balance between tradition and progress allows Alexandrea Winery to create wines that feel both familiar and unexpected.
From elegant whites and expressive rosés to structured reds and limited releases, every wine is crafted to offer character, complexity, and a memorable tasting experience.
International Recognition
Despite being a young winery, Alexandrea Winery has already earned recognition at some of the wine industry’s most respected international competitions, including the Decanter World Wine Awards, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge, and Los Angeles International Wine Competition.
The winery is also proud to have introduced Armenia’s first Riesling and continues to explore new expressions of internationally celebrated grape varieties through Armenia’s unique terroir and winemaking identity.
A 20-Year Passion Project
The story of Alexandrea Winery began long before the first vineyard was planted. For more than two decades, founder Adam Kablanian nurtured a deep passion for wine, driven by curiosity, exploration, and a vision of one day creating wines of his own.
In 2017, that vision became reality. Working with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes in Los Altos Hills, California, Adam produced his first wines and began a journey into the world of winemaking. This early experience provided invaluable insight into craftsmanship, vineyard expression, and the importance of terroir.
Inspired by the belief that great wines should genuinely reflect their origin, Adam turned his focus toward Armenia, determined to create wines that honor the land, culture, and identity of his homeland.
